This item is one of the rarest in the game, but everyone has the story of where it came from wrong, chances are you've heard the story along the lines; "it was added to gifts and removed after a few mins due to the image being forgotten"
🚨 This story is FALSE and isn't what happened at all, let's take a look at what ACTUALLY happened
If the story you've heard all this time is false, then where did it actually come from? Well, it was actually some-what of a 🎉 GIVEAWAY item; fans of the game drew Concept art to have it added to the gift rotation!
This was hosted by Bethink, and the winner of the contest went by the name of Amiya, she was given the items she drew because they were added to the game!
How didn't the Rainbow Rattle make it to the gifts?
Well simply, Bethink completely forgot to add it to the gifts! There truly was no reason it wasn't added; for a while the rattle was COMPLETELY unknown until later on an Admin Error which gave another copy to a 2nd player...
The Beginning: Double Copy
A player with the user "unicorn_36367" was restoring her items back but seemingly got more than what she had before, including items she never had and the 🌈 Rainbow Rattle!
Later on, unicorn_36367 actually traded the Rainbow Rattle and more for a neon Cat; Certainly, would be a massive win in today's standards
The person Elizabeth received the rattle, tweeted about it and this is when the item truly started to become more "known."
First Trade: Uprising
The Rainbow Rattle was then traded to "Makalib" for a few items! This is when the Rattle slowly started to have a value within the game and become known!
Makalib brought the rattle to a youtubers name "jeremy" who highlighted the item more and the Rattle truly started to become the rare item it is today!

The rattle is seen way more frequently now, Adopt Me started in 2022 giving away 20 rattles to people for Pride Month celebration! They have also hosted other giveaways for players to obtain them since then
