Everyday values are voted on by the Value Team to determine the value or demand of a Pet/Item with the understanding of current trends and going based off proofs. Let's take a look at questions and some ways we determine our values!
How Values are Determined: The Value boards
The most important thing for our users to know, it's how genuine our values are and how we determine them! (You can also read Manipulation in Values for more info on how we handle manipulation)
First it's important for you to understand who updates and determines the values, the Value Boards (Moderators have no direct influence on values besides stopping bashing/manipulation on site and in server). Value Boards are professional traders who understand values very well and understand pet trends while keeping updated on them, as anyone should. As a team they put countless hours into the game to understand general demands/values and what heavily sought-after pets may be getting to then vote on its value for the next update.
ⓘ It's ensured that AMVGG is always up to date with the most genuine values of what pets are currently getting, if a pet rose for no reason nobody would accept that raise and give that value.
Value Boards do not raise pets off of what they have and when they trade it but basing it off the community and what trades that pet is getting. They collect in-game trade proofs along with Trade Helpers being able to forward them as well along with the general Community.
The Role of The Community
It's without a doubt that the community is the most important part of AMVGG, without a trusted and genuine community the site would not exist for us to provide players up-to-date values! With this we need to make sure players have a say and have the chance to give their feedback and trading experiences on items.
Within our Discord Sever members can make a value suggestion for Value Boards to look at and decide whether it's something valid or not. Anyone also has the free chance to directly message them trade proofs, you can find the current Value Boards in the Credits Page
ⓘ It's important to note that some pets may leave the community in a split, some realizing it does pull that value with others generally disliking the pet as a whole. We have to base values off of what it's genuinely getting in-game, we do not use site trades as proofs due to increased number of players posting fake trades.
Why Frost Dragon raises so frequently
Frost Dragon is a very strong demanded and valued pet when it comes to Adopt me and its values, it's just one of those pets that remains to be sought after. The reason Frost Dragon is able to raise so frequently and why it does is the introduction of Baseless Values on March 24th.
In summary Frost Dragon continuously pulls over its value, and when the overpays become more than usual it needs to rise, this also means pets that are well-demanded need to be adjusted as well!
ⓘ Pets that are stable will not receive a raise in values but remain the same; Important to note if you use Frost Dragon Values in calculator since frost remains as valued 1 everything around it will drop to meet the expected ratio.
